who struck a woman and kept going. the bid -- victim was critically injured in the 81 -- 8700 block of carol in silver spring. the driver left behind evidence. stephen tschida has more >> . it happened after 8:00 p.m. the woman was about to cross the street when a small dark, a car hit her with such force that she flew through the air according to witnesses. she landed under a truck parked 30 feet from the impact. >> she was thrown. >> the driver never stopped. the vehicle vanished down tallon avenue. those in the neighborhoods in a fast-moving car czar, and on this stretch. some motorists ignore stop for pedestrians signs. >> some cars never stop.

breaking news, investigators are searching for suspects in a deadly shooting in landover. if it happened around midnight in the 3400 block of dodge park road. officers found a man in the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. he was pronounced dead at a hospital. investigators are searching for the driver of a car that hit and critically injured if a woman in silver spring. she was trying to cross ken hill avenue saturday night and was thrown into the air before landing 30 feet from where she was headed. -- carrol avenue. the st. louis rams took the lead early and the redskins could not come back. if the redskins are now one and two for the season. it's all about the economy, from the white house these days, trying to bring voters around before the midterm.
